I really have been gone for way too long and I’m sorry for neglecting those of you who would prefer a bit of a read over watching me waffle in my YouTube videos! (P.S. But have you subscribed?! Click here to view my channel and catch up!)
As we’ve entered the New Year, I thought it was only fitting to share with you guys my hopes for the coming year and a brief reflection of the year just passed.
Who would have ever known 2017 would have been such a transformative year for me! I left home and moved to the Big Apple, I launched my Youtube & Blog and I had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands I probably only would have dreamed of the year before! The likes of Lancome, Derma-E, Hourglass and Mizani to name but a few! (If you’d like to hear more about how I landed these opportunities, do let me know and I’d be happy to share with you guys).
I have more beauty and hair products than I know what to do with and at the end of the year I received my first paid partnership! Would you look at God! I don’t say any of this to boast but just to share with you guys the importance of just getting out there and pursuing the things you are passionate about. I had hesitated to get started for so long out of fear of failure but I came to the realization that as long as I’m proud of my work, that’s truly all that matters and I really am blessed with how far I’ve come since starting blogging in September.
