Does that work? I really was trying to do a smart play on words and this was the best I could come up with!
Basically, all I’m trying to say is, when was the last time you showed yourself some appreciation and self-love? This gift guide is collated with gifts to yourself in mind but it can definitely also be used as inspiration for you whether you’re celebrating ‘Galentine’s’ day with your besties or even if you have an actual valentine but still want to spoil yourself!
Self-love is a journey I’m currently on myself and the following quote sums up the ‘why?’ question perfectly!
“Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”

I hope you guys love the suggestions below and if you have any other ideas, please feel free to comment, I’d love to hear what you guys are doing to ensure you’re taking care of number one!
1. Atelier Cologne – Starting at $150+
Renowned for their signature luxury scents, Atelier Cologne have curated a range of beautiful sets specifically created for Valentine’s and they are to die for! Unfortunately demand has meant they’re all sold out online but visit the website here to find your nearest Atelier Cologne Boutique! Prices start from $150 upwards and if you’re going to splurge a little on one item this year, make sure this is your number one choice! My favourite would be the Café Tuberosa and Vanille Insensée set but make sure to stop by so you can find a scent that suits you best!
2. Christian Louboutin Nail Polish – $50/£38
Available in a wide range of eye-catching statement colours, this nail polish is an accessory in itself! I received one as a gift a couple years back and with it’s iconic spiked cap, I would definitely recommend for those of you who want to give your dressing table a talking point! Buy here (US) or here (UK).
3. Givenchy – eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Extravagant – $150
A bit on the pricier side of this gift guide, this fragrance is to die for! With notes of Tuberose, Vanilla and Patchouli, it’s a scent that is sure to have heads turning when you glide past! Unfortunately I’m only seeing this one available in the US! Buy here.
4. Michael Todd Beauty – Sonic Eraser Pro – $89.25 (on sale!)/£91
For those of you looking to indulge in a little R&R, this product is for you. Designed to enhance the absorption of all your lotions and potions, this is my absolute must have skin product at the moment! But don’t let me have to convince you, try it for yourself and see! Buy here (US) or here (UK).
5. Lano Rose Hand Cream Intense – $15
With the winter weather still lurking over here, it’s so important to keep your hands hydrated! Two staples my mum has always taught me should be in my hand bag; hand cream and a pack of tissues!Maybe I’m alone here but I’ve been guilty of using a lip gloss or even licking my hands to hide any dry patches when I am on the go without hand cream! *bows head in shame* The Lano hand cream has a subtle rosy scent and hydrates your skin without leaving your hands greasy. A must buy! Buy here.
6. Lancôme Teint Macaron – $40/£35
I mean, before we even get to the product, can we discuss how cute this packaging is! The pastel colours are giving me spring vibes and I am so here for it. This product is perfect for adding a touch of pink to your cheeks and comes with the cutest blender to diffuse the colour. I was initially skeptical to how suitable it would be for darker skin tones but I am completely in love! Buy here.
Of course these were initially collated with Valentine’s Day in mind but don’t forget, you don’t have to wait until February 14th to treat yourself! For the boys, these make great little gifts for the women in your life and ladies, how about surprising your ‘Galentine’ with a gift this year?!
I’d love to hear any other recommendations below and I will catch you guys in my next post!
